Planes and axes of movement

All dead body movements occur in different planes and around different axes.

A carpenter's plane is an imaginary flat surface running through the body.

An bloc is an imaginary blood line at right angles to the plane, about which the body rotates or spins.

Planes of movement

On that point are three planes of front:
